Farm Feud! Jeremy Clarkson and His Co-Star Go Head-to-Head in Dramatic Showdown

Jeremy Clarkson and Clarkson’s Farm star face off in showdown

Jeremy Clarkson and a fellow Clarkson’s Farm star are set to go head-to-head in a racing showdown.

The former Top Gear star has found further TV success with his Prime Video farming documentary.

Clarkson’s Farm, which debuted back in 2021, shows life on his Oxfordshire farm, Diddly Squat and has four seasons to date.

With a fifth series on the way next year, fans can get their dose of the show this week as Mr Clarkson’s horse is set to race at Sedgefield Racecourse.

The Hawkstonian, trained by Ben Pauling, will take to the track in the Novices’ Hurdle at 1.55pm on Thursday, marking his first outing over hurdles.

Trainer Pauling has called the upcoming season “an exciting one” for The Hawkstonian, who’s been showing plenty of promise at home for the TV superstar now involved in a different kind of horsepower.

Also on the same card is Clarkson’s Farm star Gerald Cooper’s syndicate horse, Whatyouwaitingfor, just 35 minutes later.

His horse, trained by Charlie Longsdon, will line up in the Novices’ Handicap Chase at 2.30pm.

The much-loved farmhand is raising awareness for Prostate Cancer UK through Gerald’s Charity Syndicate, which has already raised £28,500.

Old Gold Racing Chief Executive, Ed Seyfried, said: “We couldn’t have scripted it better!

“Two Clarkson’s Farm legends, two great syndicates, and two races back-to-back – it’s a fantastic showcase for syndicate racehorse ownership through Old Gold Racing.

“Whether you’re Team Clarkson or Team Gerald, everyone’s a winner when it comes to supporting the sport and great causes.

“We can’t wait to see which team holds the bragging rights on Thursday!”
