Jeremy Clarkson Reveals: I Often Get ‘Frustrated’ Because Kaleb Cooper Doesn’t Know Things Everyone Knows!

TV star Jeremy Clarkson has admitted that he often feels “frustrated” with Kaleb Cooper, the manager of his Diddly Squat Farm, even though they have worked together for four years. Kaleb has supported Clarkson since 2021, when the former Top Gear host began learning the complexities of running an efficient farm, and he is well-known for his exceptional farm management skills and deep agricultural knowledge.

In his latest book, Diddly Squat: The Farmer’s Dog, Clarkson reveals that, although Kaleb is incredibly competent at work, starting a conversation with him can sometimes be challenging. Clarkson describes that Kaleb can immediately answer questions about farm machinery but knows very little about popular culture. Clarkson recalls that Kaleb had never heard of Fleetwood Mac, Robert De Niro, Mozart, or even James Bond films, which Clarkson found frustrating and sometimes “annoying.”

Despite their stark differences in personal interests and knowledge, the relationship between Clarkson and Kaleb has been warmly received by audiences, thanks to its humor and authenticity on Clarkson’s Farm. On the show, Kaleb guides Clarkson on operating complex machinery and assists with numerous farm tasks, becoming a central figure and beloved for his dedication and expertise.

Although there are moments of disagreement over personal tastes, Clarkson and Kaleb maintain a close working relationship and support each other on the farm. Clarkson admits that his “frustration” comes from cultural and interest gaps, but this does not diminish Kaleb’s value as an outstanding farm manager. Their dynamic, full of funny and realistic moments, continues to be a highlight of Clarkson’s Farm.

In short, Jeremy Clarkson sees Kaleb Cooper as both a reliable collaborator and a source of amusing frustration, reflecting the intriguing differences between two people working together on a farm while coming from completely different worlds.
