Kelly Thiebaud Overwhelmed By ‘GH’ Return Reactions
Kelly Thiebaud (formerly Britt Westbourne) tried to return to General Hospital (GH) nearly a year ago, but it didn’t work out for some reason. Now that the news is out that she returns in July, she feels overwhelmed by the reactions from daytime drama fans. Read on for more details.
‘Dr. Britch’ Is Back?
It’s not known what role Thiebaud will play when she returns to Port Charles. Remember, she left the daytime drama to go and reprise her role as Eva Vasquez on Season 6 ofStation 19. The character of Dr. Britt Westbourne had a ghastly exit as far as fans can recall. That happened during “The Hook” serial killer episodes.
While daytime soaps often bring back the dead, there’s a minor possibility that she might reprise her role. But of course, she might be someone new. On social media, she’s overwhelmed by reactions.
Overwhelmed Outpouring Love
On the weekend, Thiebaud took to her Instagram and shared a reel that showed her dancing and jumping for joy. The Emmy Award-winning star seemed so excited that folks couldn’t help but also feel the vibe.
In her caption, the GH star wrote:
You guys rock!!! I am blown away by the outpouring of love and excited (sic) from yall!! You have no idea how much this means to me. Thank you. #letsfckngo #gh
Many people want her back, no matter who Kelly Thiebaud is, but lots of them want her to hook up with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). There were plenty of other reactions from fans and colleagues.

Cameron Mathison didn’t get tons of love when he commented. Lots of fans cannot stand his character of Drew Cain, so one of them wrote, “@cameronmathison what, now you’re gonna ruin another young woman’s life…you done with Willow? despise your character.”
In his comment, he’d written, “Love thissssssss.” Critics might not like him, but Kelly replied, saying, “Thank you, Cameron! Excited to work together again!”
Another ABC star who commented was Katelyn MacMullen (Willow Tait), who also welcomed her back. She penned, “Can’t wait!” while adding a heart emoji.
Fans Are So Happy
Excited comments arrived, and lots of them wish for the return of Britt Westbourne. One of them begged, “Please be Brit. Please be Brit. So happy for you and [us] viewers.”
