Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir in incredible gesture after dazzling BGT judges and viewers at audition
THEY dazzled the judges and audience alike on Britain’s Got Talent last week – and now the Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir are giving something back by releasing a charity record.
The group, who bagged a golden buzzer and a place in the ITV contest’s semi- finals, are releasing a record with the money going to mental health charity Shout.

10The choir are sponsored by the brewery established by Jeremy Clarkson, who films his Prime Video show Clarkson’s Farm close to where they rehearse.
An insider said: “Shout is an organisation close to their hearts because, as well as trying to boost the sense of community in rural areas, it also helps to combat loneliness, which is increasingly a problem among farmers.
“Recent statistics show that 95 per cent of farmers under 40 identify poor mental health as a significant issue in the industry.”
The record, called the Banned One, after a Hawkstone advert was banned for “not complying” with broad casting standards, has been released in the run-up to Mental Health Awareness Week in May.

All proceeds from the record will be handed over to the charity.
Hawkstone’s partnership with Shout provides a free, confidential, 24-7 text messaging support service specifically for farmers and the agricultural community.
By texting “Hawkstone” to 85258, farmers in need can have a conversation with a trained volunteer at any time of the day or night.
Victoria Hornby, chief executive of Shout, said: “The Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir has given an incredible voice to the mental health challenges faced by so many in the agricultural community.
“We are immensely grateful to be the charity partner for this project.
“The funds raised from this vinyl will be vital, enabling us to train more volunteers and be there for anyone in the farming community who is struggling to cope. It will save lives.”
The limited-edition vinyl is available now, exclusively from the Hawkstone website. See hawkstone.com.
STARS ASSEMBLE ANEW

10WATCH a fresh crop of celebrities squirm as they are interrogated in the new series of The Assembly.
Motherland star Anna Maxwell Martin and comedy legend Sir Lenny Henry can’t help but burst into laughter as they face no-holds-barred questions.
Also getting a good grilling is I’m A Celebrity’s Aitch – and here’s a first look at them being quizzed.
Sir Stephen Fry and Nicola Sturgeon kick off series two, which starts on ITV next month.

10No question is off the table for The Assembly – a group of autistic, neurodivergent and/or learning disabled interviewers.
The first series, which aired two years ago, saw Rivals actor Danny Dyer and ex-Match of the Day host Gary Lineker in the hot seat.
BRADLEY WALSH and his son Barney head to the Australian outback in the seventh series of their ITV show Breaking Dad.
But there will be no rest or relaxation, with Barney lining up a host of high-octane challenges that will push his dad to the limit.
Bradley said: “It’s so good to be back on the road again with Barney. We really do have the best time but I’m not quite sure what he has up his sleeve on this trip, which is slightly worrying . . .
“I was looking forward to a bit of sunshine and maybe a nice barbecue but knowing Barney, I’ll be dodging great whites or jumping out of a plane before breakfast.”
Barney said: “Australia is such an iconic destination – I can’t wait to see us both get stuck in Down Under!”
And we can’t wait to see what you have in store for your dad.
THE line-up for Taskmaster’s new series with Greg Davies and Alex Horne is top class. Brit talent Armando Iannucci, Joanna Page, Joel Dommett and Amy Gledhill are joined by US comic Kumail Nanjiani. It kicks off on April 9 on Channel 4.
SHERIDAN SMITH says she has bagged her “dream role” as she heads Down Under to star in a six-part ITV thriller.
Two Birds sees her play PC Izzie Cornwell, who is recently widowed and looking for a fresh start in Western Australia. But she soon gets tangled up in a murder investigation that exposes hidden secrets.
“I’m thrilled to be playing the irresistibly complex Izzie Cornwell,” said Sheridan, who this week earned a Bafta nomination for her portrayal of campaigner Ann Ming in ITV drama I Fought The Law.
Two Birds was written by Helen FitzGerald, the creator of BBC’s The Cry, which starred Jenna Coleman.
Sheridan added: “Helen FitzGerald has created a dream role for me.”
I expect this to be brilliant.
POST Office hero Sir Alan Bates delivers an emotional surprise to a fellow former sub-postmaster on Car SOS tonight.
Joining hosts Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townshend, Sir Alan handed over a restored 1973 Triumph Bonneville motorbike to Ian Davies.
Ian, from Swansea, was wrongly accused of theft due to faults in the Horizon IT system, costing him his job, reputation and financial stability.
Although his name was eventually cleared, the ordeal had a profound impact – with both his parents and his wife passing away before they could see justice done.
After a stroke left him unable to restore the bike, Ian was nominated by his cousin – prompting one of the most powerful moments ever on the National Geographic series.
Tim said: “This wasn’t just about restoring a machine – it was about restoring something that had been taken from him for years.”
TEN Pound Poms star Warren Brown plays a grieving Met detective who retreats to Capri, Italy, in six-part series A Taste For Murder.
But his sabbatical doesn’t go to plan when he gets dragged into some police work after a body is found. Watch the full series on ITVX from May 13.
STEPHEN GRAHAM is set to be the toast of the TV Baftas in May as two of his shows – Adolescence and A Thousand Blows – have bagged the most nominations.
But beyond dominating the dramas genre on telly, he’s building up a nice little business in real estate.
The Liverpudlian actor has set up a property investment firm with his wife Hannah Walters, who stars alongside him in Disney+ historical drama A Thousand Blows and also appears in Netflix series Adolescence.
Well done Jac for putting out the trash & escaping a jail sentence of a marriage
Hear’Say star Suzanne Shaw, 44, and Darren Day, 57, become grandparents
Set up last month, the firm is called Orchard Street Investments and the couple both run it as directors.
I suppose Stephen has to put the millions he, rightfully, earns somewhere, right?
