The Surprising Rule at Diddly Squat Farm That Jeremy Clarkson Says You MUST Follow
Jeremy Clarkson explains Diddly Squat Farm Shop rule to fans
Jeremy Clarkson has explained a little-known rule at Diddly Squat Farm Shop in Oxfordshire.
The former Top Gear host has owned Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington since 2008, with the location the focus of the hit Prime Video show, Clarkson’s Farm.
Mr Clarkson and his partner, Lisa Hogan, opened Diddly Squat Farm Shop in 2020, which has proved popular with tourists in the years following.
The brand expanded in 2024 as a pop-up shop sprang up on the grounds of the couple’s pub, The Farmer’s Dog, coinciding with the Asthall boozer’s opening in August.

Now, the 65-year-old has clarified one of the rules in place at his Diddly Squat Farm Shop.
Taking to social media, one fan shared they had travelled to the tourist hotspot and were waiting in the queue with their dog.
Posting a photograph of them holding the pooch on X, the woman said: “Tired little doggy waiting in the queue for the farm shop. ”
Mr Clarkson initially responded to the post and said: “Aww.”

Then, another user replied to the picture and stated: “Dogs aren’t allowed in Diddly Squat Farm Shop.”
In response to the claim, Mr Clarkson explained the rule and simply said: “Government rules.”
Filming on Clarkson’s Farm series five officially wrapped last month, and the show is now in post-production.
Although no confirmed release date has been given, it is expected that the episodes will follow a similar release to past seasons of the show, meaning they will drop at some point in 2026, likely spring.
