Jeremy Clarkson Lands New ITV Role as Millionaire Spin-Off Takes Bold Turn
Clarkson’s Farm’s Jeremy Clarkson lands new ITV role with a big twist
Former Top Gear star Jeremy Clarkson will present a fast-paced Who Wants to Be a Millionaire spin-off
TV favourite Jeremy Clarkson is set to front a Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? spin-off.
However, the new game is apparently “ruthless”, and those taking part in this latest competition will require “quick thinking, tactical play, and nerves of steel” to triumph.
In Millionaire Hot Seat, every moment matters as participants rotate through the hot seat opposite Jeremy, progressing up the Million Pound Money Ladder with each correct answer.
Should they respond correctly, they continue on in the nail-biting contest. But an incorrect answer means elimination, whilst the jackpot decreases.
Players have the option to pass and remain in contention, though this means returning to the queue and potentially missing out on another opportunity.
The Clarkson’s Farm presenter has been at the helm of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? since 2018.
He assumed the position when the programme returned to screens four years after its previous host, Chris Tarrant, stepped down following numerous series. Earlier this year, it was revealed that he would also take on the role of host for Millionaire Hot Seat.
This new programme is modelled after successful iterations of the show that have been broadcast in countries like Italy and Australia. The show has garnered significant popularity among viewers in Australia, having first premiered in 2009 and subsequently running for multiple seasons.
